Todd Quaintance has disabilties; he has worked two jobs in Oshkosh and Appleton for Manpower in the past. Dad says with pride, “My son cannot walk, or talk, or feed himself, but he has never set foot in a sheltered workshop.” Todd’s day is filled with activities in the community such as the library, going out to eat, road trips to the zoo, nature centers, etc. Todd is supported by a very creative staff of which Connie Busick is the pillar of support. The key is he does not have to be surrounded daily by others with a disability, but does on occasion join his peers for a social outing.
TSA customers enjoy a wide range of activities including many social outings in which people CHOOSE their travel companions and enjoy a MUTUAL outing. The key here is the have choice both as to the destination and who they are with. Activities have ranged from fishing, stock car racing, both Milwaukee and Madison zoo, back to their home town to go to their childhood church and visit friends and anything else they can dream of. TSA, along with their guardians and funding sources work as a team to make life happen for people.
Matt N is a young man who loves to be part of his community and he also loves his “Packers”… Matt has worked with Todd Steven & Associates since his transition from Neenah High School and we’ve helped him partner with many community sites. One of his favorites is the Neenah public library, where Matt cleans DVD’s and returns materials to the shelves. He is a dedicated volunteer who works several days a week. Matt’s dedication to his work was highlighted by”The”Friends of the Neenah Library” when they chose him as Volunteer of the year. Way to go Matt!
